Sukoshi Con, the Anime convention, was held January 4th – January 5th, 2014 at the Ramada Plaza Beach Resort at Destin West in Ft. Walton Beach, FL, where coincidentally, my cousin Bobby Armer is the manager. Bobby and the Ramada were kind enough to provide the venue for the convention this January.
So what exactly is Sukoshi Con? From the Sukoshi Con website:
Sukoshi Con is a brand of conventions, bringing new social and interactive innovations to the Anime Convention scene. The company was founded as a way to give Anime fans access to Anime, Cosplay, and Gaming, hosting multiple Anime Conventions throughout the year in various states in the Southeast. The core focus of Sukoshi Con is to be a “Social Anime Convention” that promotes interacting with fellow fans, keeping the sub-culture feel.
Everyone seemed to have a great time; as one participant said “we all made it about having a good time, drama-free, drug-free, and free love and hugs”.
Bobby was there and got some great shots of the participants. Click through the gallery below to see the Joker, Halo Soldier, and all the great cosplayers at Sukoshi Con. Who is your favorite?
